B A R   C O D E  L A B E L S
Available in fixed value, serialized, or serialized with numbering.  These labels are produced on a thermal/thermal transfer printer (thermal transfer offers higher quality printing than direct thermal and dot matrix) supplied on rolls. 

Our system has the capability to print bar codes at higher densities than dot matrix printers at speeds of six inches per second.  We are able to produce multi-directional printing, serialized bar codes, serialized numbering, and variable information printed on pre-printed labels. 

Commonly Used Bar Codes:

Code 39:
Alpha-numeric code, variable width, self-checking, start-stop character is an asterisk.
Applications: Aiag, logmars, postal service, united technologies, inventory control, work-in-progress tracking, shipping and receiving, health industry.
Code 2 of 5:
Numeric only, variable width, self-checking. 
Applications: Warehouse sortation systems, photofinishing envelope ID, sequentially numbered airline tickets, UPC shipping container symbol.
UPC-A: Self-checking, 12 digits, digits 2-6 are manufacturers code, digits 7-12 are manufacturers item number (assigned by the MFG) digit 1 signifies product ID, digit 12 is a check digit derived from the first 11 digits.  Retail use only.
UPC-E: Self-checking, 6 digits, condensed form of above, retail only.
EAN (European Article Numbering) - is a variation of the original U.S. based UPC coding scheme adopted for international market places.  Encodes either 8 or 13 digits.
Code 128: Variable width, alpha-numeric, self-checking, high density, similar to code 39.
